Adolescent Advocates' mission is to live in integrity, to lead by example, to create a strong sense of self and build great communities.

Our Outpatient-Therapeutic-Community is a character-building program focused on Integrity, Leadership and Community in a home-based environment. We are committed to restoring and solidifying our members within their present social, work, and living settings. Strengthening character helps our clients feel healthier and encourages a change in behavior.

A2 has an 'intensive outpatient plus' model, meaning that we are focused on creating a therapeutic community rather than simply treating specific dysfunctions. The assessment continues throughout the treatment process constantly evolving with input from the staff team, the parents and the client as seen from a variety of paradigms. Therefore, Therapeutic Coaching is only successful when the client and their family fully commit their time and energy to The Community.

A2 strives for an environment that supports progressive and forward thinking. For this reason we ask members to abstain from alcohol and illicit substance use. Random drug screens will occur (please see our drug screen policy). Positive change requires a sober, healthy and balanced mind. We are also focused on nutrition and a healthy body image. We encourage involvement in sports and exercise.
